New Touch Panels for Simulator Training

Kongsberg Maritime has developed the Multiflex Panel, a flexible touch-screen panel for its Polaris simulation systems that can be configured with different panel functions. This enables training institutes to offer a wider range of training on their Kongsberg Maritime Polaris full mission simulators. Over 70 different panel functions are available. The system has been designed as a replacement for hardware panels by replicating the same panels in a touch sensitive graphical format.

Viking Welding - EPA Survey Boat

In October 2008, Viking Welding of Kensington, NH delivered a 26.5 ft trailerable survey boat to the EPA’s Narragansett Laboratory. After performing nearly a year of pre-bid research and specification writing, the EPA ultimately awarded the contract to Viking Welding. The welded aluminum vessel was designed by Bill Lincoln at Response Marine.
