Donjon Purchases Tug
Donjon Marine Co., Inc., a provider of multi-faceted marine services including marine salvage, heavy lift, dredging and related emergency response services, has purchased the tugboat, the 81-ft.Meagan Ann, formerly the Scorpius, from Constellation Maritime, a subsidiary of Foss Maritime. The Meagan Ann is a twin-engine, 2,250 hp coastal towing tug, built in 1975 and rebuilt in 1988. The Meagan Ann will join Donjon’s tug fleet and support its marine transportation and dredging operations.

Ship Traffic Remains Limited After Collision
The clean up after Wednesday's oil spill continues, and so do the restrictions on the . So far only a few ships have been allowed to sail southbound and only one ship, an oil tanker has been allowed to continue on northbound, reports said. Approval for ships on the river is limited due to clean up operations.. The ships that are approved, however, must be carefully cleaned, which can take several hours per ship. Meanwhile, the barge that leaked all of the oil is still in the water.
