Veson Nautical, a developer of software that propels the commercial maritime industry, announced the opening of a new office in London, just steps from London Bridge. The new office will serve as a headquarters for Veson Nautical in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and will house dedicated sales, consulting, and technical professionals for these regions.

“Europe has always been a key market for Veson Nautical. The new London location will serve as a hub to the entire region. We’re delighted to expand our team to best serve our clients’ needs,” said President, John Veson.

George Giovas will lead the new London office, having served as Veson’s Regional Director of Europe and Middle East Operations since 2005. “We are starting with a small, experienced team and plan to double the office size by the end of the year,” said Mr. Giovas, who brings more than 20 years' experience in shipping and engineering to his role.

Richard Silk, Veson Nautical’s London-based Senior Vice President of Strategy, shared his thoughts: “As Veson Nautical continues to expand its user community and product range, we must enhance our presence to support clients in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Historically, London has played a pivotal role in commercial maritime trade. Having worked in Southwark over 25 years ago, it is remarkable to see the change that has taken place in the area. It still has a great down-to-earth energy that makes it an exciting location in which to work.”

A Veson Nautical welcome reception will be held in November to celebrate the opening of the new office.
