Charter Rates Steady Worldwide, On the Rise in U.K./Continent

Charter rates for product tankers have been broadly steady around the world this week, with the exception of a slight improvement in the UK/continent sector. Shippers said 20-22,000 tonners were attracting around W200 for inter UK/Continent trips. Charterers have shown interest in moving product transatlantic and also into the Mediterranean to meet increased Turkish demand.
