USCG law enforcement officers terminated a vessel's voyage for a federal safety violation. Officers from USCGC Naushon boarded Wild Salmon, a 74-ft. fish tender, near Ketchikan.
The USCG personnel found Wild Salmon didn't have a survival craft aboard as required by law. The officers ordered Wild Salmon's skipper to take his vessel to Ketchikan and keep it there until he acquired a survival craft.
