LPG Tanker Blast Kills Five

An explosion aboard an LPG tanker docked at Subic Shipyard in the Philippines killed at least five people, according to shipyard officials. The vessel, identified as Mundogas Europe, was reportedly being prepared for undocking when an explosion occurred in a cargo tank. Five people were killed and eight others were injured, officials said. Shipyard workers quickly put out a fire which followed the blast. No other details about the ship or its cargo were given.
