CMA CGM announced a peak season surcharge from all Asian ports (including Japan, South East Asia and Bangladesh) to West Mediterranean, Adriatic, East Mediterranean, Black Sea and North Africa.
The surcharge, which will take effect January 6, 2014, is $300 (USD) per TEU (Dry cargo, OOG’S, Paying empties, Break-bulk and Reefer cargo).
