German KVM company Guntermann & Drunck GmbH (G&D) announced it will distribute its equipment from new U.S. subsidiary G&D North America Inc. in Miami, Fla.

With the founding of its new subsidiary, G&D said it aims to increase its presence in the North American, South American and Canadian markets as G&D North America’s team will work to further expand the company’s existing partner network internationally.

According to G&D, Miami’s geographical location is ideal for reaching both the northern and the southern part of the continent. End customers and suppliers are now able to purchase KVM equipment made in Germany directly or via their on-site partners.

The G&D team provides consulting, sales and service from Florida, with employees from sales and support able to process requests in German, English, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish. The new branch also offers customers warranty and support services as well as short delivery times for equipment, accessories and spare parts.

The orderbook for U.S. dredgers is about $3B, and according to DCA CEO Bill Doyle, the incoming political administration could help this niche maritime sector continue its bull run.
