WCC’s MariTrack is an end-to-end maritime security and communications solution designed to meet the International Maritime Organization (IMO) requirements for Ship Security Alert System (SSAS). WCC’s ComCenter leverages a similar hardware platform and is a comprehensive voice and data solution that can be customized to meet customer application needs across various industries including land and air transportation.

“Iridium’s approval of the MariTrack and ComCenter solutions further strengthens our position as the leading provider of voice communication, data transmission and secure tracking functionality,” says Weldon Knape, CEO of WCC. “Customers rely on WCC solutions to evolve with changing industry and application needs.”

MariTrack addresses future maritime regulations with long-range vessel tracking (LRT), online fleet management (VMS), and potential AIS capabilities. MariTrack’s advanced software features consist of: web-based crew calling with unique caller ID codes and call history access; alarm/alert notification via email, fax and pager; and capacity for simultaneous emergency alert while the phone is in use. Encrypted online access provides users secure, 24x7x365, web-based access throughout the world. The ComCenter has the ability to provide unparalleled enterprise-wide communication and data management services complete with web-based remote logon access and device configuration.
