Ferguson Group Showcases at Offshore Europe

The Ferguson Group, specialists in the rental of DNV 2.7-1 / EN 12079 certified offshore containers, refrigeration/freezer modules, engineering modules and accommodation solutions to the global offshore energy industry, is exhibiting this week at Offshore Europe in Aberdeen at indoor stand 2E132 and outdoor stand X40.

Ferguson Group has recently announced the launch of its new Zone 2 workshop, which was designed and manufactured by the Group in 3m or 6m sizes. The 6m module is fitted with a Zone 2 air conditioning system and a manual internal lifting crane, and the Group expects to see demand for this product continue to increase particularly in Africa, the Middle East, Asia and Australasia.

The new 6m accommodation module, launched in June 2013, offers living space for up to four personnel. The unit features newly designed bunk arrangement, desk and workspace, with new veneer and fittings, en-suite shower room and individual thermostatic control. As with all of the Ferguson Group’s modules, it can be easily stacked (four high) using ISO twist locks.

At this year’s SPE Offshore Europe, the Group plans to present 3D animations detailing a range of its products, and showcase its Tubular Transportation Frame, Mud Skip and 6m dual zone refrigeration module using the latest augmented reality software. This innovative technology gives stand visitors a virtual demonstration of selected modules, containers and units.

As well as the 3D showcase, the team will also be on hand to discuss the Group’s full product range, including several in-house developments that have been made this year.

Stand X40, located in the outdoor area, will showcase actual products with representatives from IceBlue Refrigeration Offshore, part of the Ferguson Group, also at the stand and available to discuss the range of refrigeration and freezer solutions. A particular product focus for IceBlue is the 6m dual zone module, which can provide compartmentalised temperature control thanks to an easily moveable partition.
