Monjasa DMCC, a bunkering specialist, has chosen to implement the GL ShipManager system to optimize and streamline its ship management practices. Monjasa operates a fleet of 18 vessels, delivering fuels and lubricants to their customers around the globe and will implement the system onboard and onshore. Monjasa will implement the software to maximize the efficiency of its technical, quality and safety management processes as well as its crewing and procurement administration.

GL ShipManager is an integrated ship management software solution supporting technical management, procurement, quality safety management and crewing. Using intelligent data synchronisation, GL ShipManager ensures that the same information is available onboard and onshore. It also interfaces easily with other GL ship management software and tools, as well as with standard accounting and document management systems.

“At Monjasa, we want to offer our customers the flexibility they need, through fast uncomplicated procedures. We need to be ready to go into action anywhere in the world at a moment’s notice, delivering the right product at the right place at the agreed time,” says Igor Bondar, Technical Manager of Monjasa DMCC. “GL ShipManager allows us to optimally utilise our flat organization and network of offices around the world, by making sure that we have the right information to hand wherever we need it.”

“Monjasa’s focus on finding and using the best products as well as their focus on innovation, make them an ideal partner,” says Sebastian Eggert, DNV GL account manager.” GL ShipManager will provide them with the right foundation to manage every aspect of their shipping activities, increasing efficiency and transparency and giving them the systems to scale up as they grow.
