The first container vessel in the recently adjusted CEM/ANN service of Evergreen Lines and Hanjin Shipping Lines is expected to arrive in Zeebrugge on July 19. The container vessels of the CEM/ANN service will be handled at PSA’s Zeebrugge International Port Terminal.

Earlier this year, Evergreen and Hanjin announced a series of changes to the jointly-operated Asia-Europe CEM/ANN service. Port of Zeebrugge was added to the loop as the last European port before the ships head back to Asia. Evergreen and Hanjin have also chartered slots to Cosco, “K” Line and Yangming for this service.

Today, Port of Zeebrugge and PSA are happy to announce that the ships in this service will be handled at the ZIP-terminal. This ultramodern terminal operated by PSA, the largest terminal operator worldwide, is situated in the outer port at the north side of the Albert II dock. It is equipped with berths up to 17 meters deep and has the largest quay cranes in Europe, which are able to reach across 24 rows of containers.

PSA Zeebrugge already runs the CHZ terminal on the western peninsula in the outer port.

The new CEM/ANN schedule is Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Hong Kong, Yantian, Tanjung Pelepas, Colombo, Rotterdam, Felixstowe, Hamburg, Zeebrugge, Algeciras, Colombo, Tanjung Pelepas, Hong Kong, Qingdao.
