Text of the Public Transportation Terrorism Prevention Act of 2004 (S. 2453) to authorize the Secretary of Homeland Security to award grants to public transportation agencies to improve security, and for other purposes, has been posted on the Internet. If enacted, the bill would, among other things, authorize $3.5 billion for grants to public transportation agencies in the United States to defray the cost of security enhancements.
