Offshore exploration is a history of man v. Prospecting for oil is a dynamic art. BAE to Perform US Navy Repairs in Hawaii

Boskalis Acquires Fairmount Companies
Royal Boskalis Westminster N.V. (Boskalis) announces that it has reached an agreement to acquire Fairmount Marine B.V. and Fairmount Ocean Towage Company B.V. (Fairmount) from the French group Louis Dreyfus Armateurs. The transaction values the company at an average multiple of approximately six times EBITDA. Fairmount is a global provider of long distance ocean towage services operating five 205 metric tons bollard pull towing vessels with anchor handling capabilities.

Aberdeen Harbor Expansion Gains Support
Plans by Aberdeen Harbor Board to create additional berthing facilities at Nigg Bay have received a double boost. An independent report has estimated the economic benefit of the development to the local and national economies to be nearly £1 billion per annum. This report has been published in the same month that the Scottish Government, in their National Planning Process, has named the Nigg Bay Development as one of only 14 projects that they consider to be of national importance to Scotland.
