Managing Director of Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO) Mohammad Saeed-Nejad says the nuclear deal between Iran and P5+1 has removed all sanctions imposed on Iranian ports.

The  big vessels and famous international shipping lines are facing no restrictions in their traffic in the Iranian ports, says a report by IRNA. The number of foreign oil supertankers docking at Iran’s southern Kharg oil terminal has seen a major increase.

He said big trawlers and well-credited shipping lines of the world are berthing in Iranian ports.

He went on to say that current era is the era full of changes and developments in the international trade sector and commercial ports after the JCPOA. "The changes and developments need careful planning in works and organization missions."

"Presently, we are fortunate to be out of such conditions; so, the strategic section of the maritime and port activities in the country need to be smart enough and swift to show appropriate action in concordance with the conditions," he added.

He also reiterated that the PMO also pays due attention to train its human resources through holding international, short and mid-term training courses.
