After holding Hoegh Osaka overnight, salvors are expected to board the vessel later today via helicopter and boat, the U.K. Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) reported.
MCA said pump testing will be performed, and some internal ballasting operations may begin.
Weather is expected to be windy again tonight; however the forecast for tomorrow will be favorable, meaning that salvors can press on with operations.
Authorities are discussing arrangements for bringing the vessel into port.
