National Shipbuilding Research Program Issues Pre-Solicitation Notice

In advance of the next National Shipbuilding Research Program (NSRP) Research Announcement, which the Executive Control Board plans to issue in the June 1, 2012, timeframe, a pre-solicitation notice has been issued. The Research Announcement will solicit summary proposals to respond to priorities in the program’s Strategic Investment Plan, including areas of particular interest which will be identified in the Research Announcement.

The overall strategy for the Pre-Solicitation period involves dissemination of the revised proposal preparation, submission and selection processes, and the creation of opportunities for potential project team members to engage with one another and with industry representatives on possible R&D project ideas.
