French shipowner Petromarine has ordered Niestern Sander to construct a third tanker wider than 52 ft. (16 m). Built under hull no. 813, the 12,200-dwt vessel is the largest ever built in the Province of Groningen. Constructed under Bureau Veritas guidelines, the double hull tanker is equipped with an electrical driven emergency propulsion plant, and upon its completion at the yard's floating dock in the port of Delfzijl, is scheduled for an October 2001 delivery. The vessel's design is in collaboration with Conoship International of Groningen, Netherlands.
