Stena Bulk Buys into Paradise Tankers

The tankers, which will be renamed Stena Callas, Stena Chronos and Stena Chiron, are modern epoxy-coated Panamax tankers of 73,500 tons deadweight, all of which will be withdrawn from the Star Tankers Pool and immediately enter the Stena Sonangol Panamax Pool. The Panamax pool is a direct spinoff from the successful collaboration with ’s national oil company Sonangol, involving a 15-tanker strong Suezmax pool, which Stena Bulk and Sonangol have successfully been operating for five years.

The venture provides with cash, and a new form of collaboration with Stena Bulk.
