U.K.-based refrigeration and air-conditioning specialist Flynn has been appointed as an official supplier for German refrigeration firm Roller, the company announced.
As part of the deal, the Birkenhead business will act as a worldwide distributor for Roller’s marine and offshore products typically fitted inside cold rooms on board vessels.
Flynn managing director Alex Flynn said the deal with the Gerlingen-based firm, which specializes in the manufacture of fan coil units, air coolers and heat exchangers, further boosts Flynn’s product range.
“Roller has been a major player in the air-conditioning and refrigeration industry for more than 60 years,” he said. “This partnership boosts the quality and diversity of our extensive portfolio of products, which already includes thousands of new and re-conditioned components.
“Flynn already has successful partnerships with a number of industry-leading manufacturers, including Bitzer, Danfoss, Copeland, Grasso and Gram. Roller’s products are designed to maintain the required temperatures in the most extreme conditions. Mr. Flynn said the firm, which also has agents in distributors in South America, Australia, Africa and Asia, is renowned for high quality and reliable engineering.
