Navantia Orders Sedni IAS for PEMEX Flotel

Sedni secures an important contract with Navantia to supply its Automation System (IAS) Diamar for the flotel vessel (BAP) which is being built at Ferrol factory for PEMEX owner.

Navantia has selected Sedni technology for this project. Its big flexibility on integration satisfies Navantia specifications for the monitoring and control of the different systems on board, such as level gauging system, D/E propulsion, electric plant, pumps, generators and rest of equipment on engine room.

With this project Sedni consolidates its high experience on automation for any kind of vessel. Specifically, this vessel classified by DNV for Dynamic Positioning DP3 and with an architecture to satisfy the current requirements for security and reliability.

Sedni is a Spanish company, located in Alicante that in recent years aims to become one of the reference IAS providers in the international market. The Diamar system is already the second generation of integrated alarm monitoring system developed by the company, which designs, has always combined experience and technology. This commitment to R+D+i also includes software products, as NEREIDA Load Calculators, already in commercial operation, and other applications that are in the design process.

Equipment designed exclusively for the shipbuilding industry in which the flexibility of its modular and scalable architecture and its simplicity in implementation has inspired the shipyards that installed it. Moreover, its ease of operation through a safe intuitive and uniform user interface, its proven reliability and ease of maintenance, has earned the trust of a respectable number of shipowners whose vessels are sailing around the world. In both cases, it represents a significant cost reduction, both in the manufacturing stage, as in the operation of the ship, which support the continued growth in sales of the company.

Within its international expansion strategy, Sedni has already establish a network of international distributors, which have allowed to close several contracts in Singapore, Turkey, Malaysia etc. providing that today, more than a hundred ships and have their monitoring and control of engine room under the supervision of Diamar system
