Nautronix Inspire Young People into the Industry

Maritime Activity Reports, Inc.

June 14, 2013

Nautronix gave young people across Aberdeen City and Shire an insight in to the oil and gas industry and the exciting career opportunities available to them. Working with Coaching Training Consultancy Ltd, (C-T-C) and their SCIP program, Nautronix invited 14 pupils aged between 16 and 17 from St Machar, Dyce and Inverurie Academies to take part in the Nautronix workshop.

The SCIP program aims to support fourth-sixth year pupils who are looking for a job or an apprenticeship program after leaving school. It is designed to give an overview of the energy industry and bridge the skills gap to give pupils a clearer understanding of how to market themselves and to highlight what is expected of them in a job application and interview.

The purpose of the workshop was to give pupils an insight into the industry, demonstrations of Nautronix products and opportunities that are available to them within Nautronix and the industry.
