Clean Gulf 2001 Set For Mobile

Clean Gulf 2001 Conference and Exhibition, scheduled for October 23-25, 2001 in Mobile, Ala., will provide the oil and haz-mat spill industry and the marine fire and salvage industry an opportunity to discuss innovative solutions for emergency response, clean-up and environmental issues. The event will showcase comprehensive coverage of the oil and haz-mat spill industry from an offshore, coastal and inland perspective as well as marine fire and salvage. This year's 11th annual conference will be hosted and supported by several notable state and federal agencies. Key individuals from state agencies, the federal government, and private industry will be on-hand to address issues of cooperation, regulation, preparedness, prevention and response. The Alabama Department of Environmental Management, Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Louisiana Oil Spill Coordinator's Office, Texas General Land Office, Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality, U.S. Coast Guard and Minerals Management Service will co-host the event and provide insight to relevant environmental issues. This year's indoor and outdoor event will include one of the largest displays of products, technologies and services of its kind. With already 133 booths already reserved, Clean Gulf's exhibit space will be limited to the first 160 booths and sold on a first-come, first-serve basis. Exhibiting companies will have an opportunity to meet and interact with corporate and government personnel in all segments of the market for oil and haz-mat spill technology, spill prevention, marine salvage, emergency response, marine fire, clean-up and remeditation, professional services, and compliance. Clean Gulf 2001 organizers expect more than 2,000 decision makers, specifiers, and buyers to attend. Attendees will gain information sourcing and find products and services for their oil and haz-mat spill, marine fire and salvage problems. Companies, regulatory agencies, and associations involved in exploration, production, shipping, transportation or storage of petroleum, petrochemicals or hazardous materials in offshore, coastal or inland regions should be represented at the conference.
