Three of Adm. Halsey's granddaughters are co-sponsors for the
ship: Mrs. Anne Halsey Smith and Miss Heidi Cook Halsey, both of La Jolla, Calif.; and Mrs. Alice "Missy" Spruance Talbot, of Boca Grande, Fla.
