Santa Fe Intl. Plans Mid-Quarter Update Call

Santa Fe International Corporation will conduct its regular Mid-Quarter Conference Call to update its rig fleet contract status on Wednesday, September 12, 2001, at 10:00 AM CDT/11:00 AM EDT. Richard J. Hoffman, Vice President, Investor Relations, will conduct the call.
