Cadeler Reports Strong Results, Outlook

Cadeler A/S published its interim financial report for the first half of 2023 presenting a positive result exceeding the guidance projected for the fiscal year 2023. Revenue in the first six months of 2023 was EUR 68 million, which is an increase of 57% against the same period last year. Adjusted EBITDA for the first half of 2023 was EUR 44 million, which is a EUR 21 million increase compared to the same period last year. EBITDA for H1 2023 was EUR 42 million. Profit for the period is EUR 29 million, which is EUR 19 million higher than the same period in 2022.

DSME Honors John Angelicoussis

Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) has held a tree planting ceremony in honor of the late John Angelicoussis who passed away in 2021.The ceremony included the unveiling ceremony of a plaque engraved with the picture of the former of Angelicoussis Group who is held in high regard by the shipyard particularly because he offered support whenever DSME was in need. This included support through the dissolution of Daewoo Group in 1998, the Lehman Brothers financial crisis in 2008, and the liquidity crisis that continued from 2015.Angelicoussis was born in Piraeus in 1948.

Bahri business unit will cement its position as world’s largest operator of chemical tankers in IMO2 MR class with 31 vesselsBahri said that its business unit Bahri Chemicals has concluded a long-term time charter agreement with Dubai-headquartered international shipping company United Arab Chemical Carriers Limited (UACC). As part of the deal, nine UACC IMO2 MR (medium range) chemical tankers will join Bahri Chemicals’ fleet from April 2021 onward, bringing the total number of vessels of the same class that it operates to 31.Eng.
