Australia Conducts First Maintenance of US Nuclear Submarine

ECOsubsea to Scale Up Its Hull Cleaning Solution in Singapore

Huisman has launched myHuisman©, an online client portal which offers equipment owners a parts shop, a knowledge base and a technical library.Huisman developed the system in co-creation with its clients Fred. Olsen, Van Oord, amongst others.The parts shop allows equipment owners to browse their equipment. It offers a practical breakdown structure in which all available parts can be ordered.The knowledge base includes a ticket system which allows equipment owners to prioritise requests for Huisman.

Maran Gas Extends Maintenance Deal with Wärtsilä

Wärtsilä announce it has signed a renewal of its Optimized Maintenance Agreement with the Greek shipping company Maran Gas Maritime, part of Angelicoussis Shipping Group (ASGL). The new agreement will run for five additional years, and is designed to ensure operational certainty with controlled and predictable costs for Maran Gas’s fleet of 21 TFDE LNG carrier vessels. The signing took place on May 3, 2022.The Maran Gas vessels are all powered by Wärtsilä 50DF dual-fuel engines.

Bluewater Taps Royston for FPSO Engine Overhaul

Pipelayer Blast Injures 14

An explosion has struck an oil-industry vessel in the Caspian Sea, injuring 14 people, the ship's operator, Italian engineering firm Saipem, said on Thursday.The ship, the Israfil Huseynov, was involved in maintenance work linked to the Shah Deniz II project, part of the Southern Gas Corridor pipeline stretching from Azerbaijan to Europe.Saipem said seven of those injured in Wednesday night's explosion were being treated in intensive care for burns.Reporting by Giulio Piovaccari
