Japanese shipping company Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha (NYK) and FueLNG, a joint venture between Keppel Offshore & Marine Ltd and Shell Eastern Petroleum (Pte) Ltd, have completed the first bunkering to an LNG-fueled pure car and truck carrier (PCTC) vessel in Singapore.NYK’s Jasmine Leader, one of the largest PCTC vessels in the world, successfully completed her LNG bunkering with FueLNG Bellina on March 8, 2023.“We are delighted to have achieved the first PCTC LNG bunkering through Jasmine Leader in Singapore,” said Yuji Nishijima, Executive Officer in charge for fuel procurement of NYK.

Keppel Offshore & Marine Ltd (Keppel O&M) delivered the 6000m3 Trailing Suction Hopper Dredger (TSHD) Sanderus to Jan De Nul Group.The Ultra-Low Emission vessel (ULEv) is the fourth dredger that Keppel O&M has delivered to Jan De Nul Group.According to a press release from the shipbuilder, this follows the delivery of three 3500m3 TSHDs earlier this year, all ULEvs and the world's first European Union (EU) Stage V dredgers. Keppel O&M is also currently building Ortelius, a 6000m3 dredger which is identical to the Sanderus, for Jan De Nul Group, with delivery expected in 1Q 2020.Sanderus is fitted with a two-stage filtering technique for exhaust gases.

Keppel Singmarine’s Nantong, China, shipyard has delivered the world’s first dredger to meet European Union Stage V emissions requirements for inland waterways vessels.The wholly-owned subsidiary of Keppel Offshore & Marine Ltd (Keppel O&M) said in a press release that has delivered the ultra low emission dredger on time, within budget and with a perfect safety record, strengthening its presence in the non-oil and gas segment.Built for Jan De Nul and named Afonso de Albuquerque, the ultra-low emission Trailing Suction Hopper Dredger (TSHD) is diesel-electrical powered and comes equipped with an efficient exhaust gas filter system. The resultant emission complies with the requirements of the EU Stage V standards, which set stricter limits on emissions.

Singapore's Keppel FELS has delivered the jackup rig, Cantarell IV, to Grupo R with a perfect safety record.The wholly-owned subsidiary of Keppel Offshore & Marine Ltd (Keppel O&M) said that as part of the deal, Grupo R has entered into a sale and leaseback agreement with FELS Asset, another wholly-owned subsidiary of Keppel O&M.FELS Asset will purchase the rig from Grupo R for US$179m which is equivalent to the balance contract value of the rig. Keppel Offshore & Marine Ltd (Keppel O&M) through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Keppel Singmarine Pte Ltd, has secured a contract from FueLNG, a joint venture between Keppel O&M and Shell Eastern Petroleum (Pte) Ltd, to build South East Asia's first Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) bunkering vessel valued at approximately S$50 million. Scheduled for completion in 3Q 2020, the dual-fuel LNG bunkering vessel will have a capacity of 7,500 cubic metres. FueLNG will receive a grant of up to S$3 million as part of the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore's (MPA) LNG Bunkering Pilot Programme (LBPP). Mr Andrew Tan, CEO of MPA, said, "We are pleased that FueLNG, Keppel and Shell are taking the lead in growing the LNG bunkering infrastructure in Singapore.

Following the Letter of Intent signed by Keppel Offshore & Marine Ltd through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Keppel FELS Limited, with Awilco Drilling PLC, Keppel has secured the contract to construct a mid-water semisubmersible (semi) drilling rig for harsh environment use worth about $425 million. As part of the transaction, Awilco has independent options to order up to another three similar rigs to be exercised within 12, 24 and 36 months respectively. The prices of the three additional rigs are subject to cost adjustments and will only be finalised and announced separately if and when the options are exercised. Scheduled for completion in 1Q 2021, the rig will be built to Moss Maritime's CS60 ECO MW design.

The vessel was named Khankendi by the President of Azerbaijan, H.E. Ilham Aliyev, at a ceremony in Baku Shipyard and launched by the Shah Deniz consortium. Baku Shipyard LLC, a joint venture between Keppel Offshore & Marine Ltd (Keppel O&M), State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) and Azerbaijan Investment Company (AIC), has completed a Subsea Construction Vessel (SCV) for the Caspian region. The Khankendi will be deployed to the Shah Deniz field where it is expected to perform subsea installation and construction work over the next eleven years.

Keppel AmFELS, a wholly owned subsidiary of Keppel Offshore & Marine Ltd (Keppel O&M) in the United States (US), has secured a contract worth more than US$400m from Honolulu-based Pasha Hawaii for the construction of two Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) fueled containerships. The dual fuel LNG vessels will be built to Keppel's proprietary design with delivery of the first vessel expected in 1Q 2020, and the second vessel in 3Q 2020. Keppel Offshore & Marine Ltd (Keppel O&M) has through its wholly owned subsidiary, Keppel Shipyard Ltd (Keppel Shipyard), won four contracts worth a total of $85 million for the conversion, repair and modification of vessels. The first contract is from Dixstone Holdings Ltd, for the conversion of the M/T Tempera into an FPSO. Keppel Shipyard's job scope includes the installation of topside process skids as well as a new accommodation module, amongst others. Work is expected to commence in 3Q 2017 and upon its expected delivery in 3Q 2018, the FPSO will be deployed to the Yombo field operated by Perenco off the Republic of Congo, Africa. It will replace the FPSO Conkouati which has served the field for more than 25 years and was also converted by Keppel Shipyard in 1991.

Keppel Offshore & Marine Ltd (Keppel O&M) through its subsidiary in Azerbaijan, Caspian Shipyard Company (CSC), is on track to deliver a semisubmersible drilling rig to Caspian Drilling Company Ltd, a subsidiary of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR). The rig was named Heydar Aliyev at a ceremony in Azerbaijan today by the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev. Built to Keppel FELS' proprietary DSSTM 38M design, the rig has been customized for the Caspian Sea's harsh environment condition. It is the first modern semisubmersible to be almost completely built in Azerbaijan.

Keppel Offshore & Marine’s shipyard in Brazil, BrasFELS, has delivered P-66, the first of the Replicante series of floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) units, to Tupi BV. Keppel Offshore & Marine Ltd (Keppel O&M), through its wholly owned subsidiary, Keppel FELS Brasil SA's BrasFELS shipyard, has delivered the FPSO P-66 to Tupi BV (a consortium formed by Petróleo Brasileiro S.A. - Petrobras, operator with 65 percent; BG E&P Brasil - a subsidiary of Royal Dutch Shell plc, with 25 percent; and Petrogal Brasil with 10 percent), which is represented by Petrobras. P-66 departed the shipyard on February 4, 2017 to be deployed in the Lula Sul field, Santos Basin, Brazil. BrasFELS was engaged for two Replicante projects, P-66 and P-69.

Keppel Offshore & Marine Ltd (Keppel O&M)'s wholly owned subsidiary Keppel Singmarine Pte Ltd (Keppel Singmarine) has secured contracts from Jan De Nul Group to build three Trailing Suction Hopper Dredgers (TSHDs). The TSHDs are worth about S$100 million in total. The first two dredgers are expected to be completed in 2H 2018 while construction of the third dredger will require a notice within six months from Jan De Nul to exercise the option for the dredger. To be built to Jan De Nul's design, the dredgers will be able to dredge to a maximum depth of 27.6m, and have a hopper capacity of 3,500 m3. The two dredgers will be built to the requirements of classification society, Bureau Veritas, in Keppel Nantong Shipyard, a subsidiary of Keppel O&M.

Keppel Offshore & Marine Ltd (Keppel O&M)'s wholly owned subsidiary Keppel Shipyard Ltd (Keppel Shipyard) has secured four contracts worth a total of about S$120 million from repeat customers. Mr Michael Chia, Managing Director (Marine & Technology) of Keppel O&M, said, "We are pleased to secure new orders from long-time customers who continue to entrust their projects with us, whether it is for turret fabrication or vessel upgrades. The first contract that Keppel Shipyard secured is from BW Catcher Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of BW Offshore, for the installation and integration of topside modules for a newbuild Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessel.

Keppel Offshore & Marine Ltd, through subsidiary Keppel FELS Brasil SA's BrasFELS shipyard, has been awarded a Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) module fabrication and integration project by its repeat customer MODEC Offshore Production Systems (Singapore) Pte. Ltd., a MODEC, Inc. group company, for a contract value of over BRL 500 million (SGD190 million). BrasFELS' work scope for this project comprises the fabrication and integration of nine topside production modules for the FPSO Cidade de Campos dos Goytacazes MV29. The vessel is expected to arrive at the shipyard by the first quarter of 2017 for the integration phase.
