Fueltrax Announces Smart Financing Option

Fueltrax has launched a smart financing program designed to help vessel operators take advantage of its electronic fuel management systems without the obstacle of an initial capital investment.Fueltrax has signed an agreement with Malaysia-based Vestera in which the two companies work together to help expedite the installation of the systems. Vestera is a technology-based solutions provider serving regional and international clients.Payment arrangements are customized to vessel operators’ specific needs.The Fueltrax system is designed and supported by former NASA engineers.

Fueltrax Opens Vessel Operations Center in Kuala Lumpur

Maritime fuel management systems provider Fueltrax said it is expanding its representation in Asia in response to growing demand for its solutions in Southeast Asia and Asia Pacific regions. Nigerian Crew Boat Owner Opts for Fueltrax

Fuel Management Tech Helps CalMac Reduce Emissions

Fuel management technology is helping Scottish ferry operator Caledonian MacBrayne (CalMac) to meet its targets for the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. IOCs Stress on OSV Fuel Management Performance

Growing insistence by international oil companies (IOCs) that oilfield contract vessels (OSVs) are fitted with fuel monitoring systems has prompted an upsurge in interest in marine engine monitoring systems. Diesel power specialist Royston reports that it is equipping a growing number of offshore vessels with its enginei fuel management system as the oil majors increasingly require the availability of accurate on-board fuel monitoring data as part of the support contracts awarded to shipping companies. Around the world, enginei is now installed on nine vessels working for Chevron, two for BP, one for Addax Petroleum, four for Total, two for Conoco Phillips and one for Exxon.
