Partnership Envisions Ammonia-Fueled Feeder Ship

JR Shipping Adds 2 Container Feeder Ships

Netherlands' short sea shipping firm JR Shipping has expanded its container feeder fleet by purchasing a vessel and entering into a new management contract.According to a press note from the Harlingen-based shipowner and manager, the two vessels were transferred to the shipping company. They will be registered under the flag of Madeira and sail under the names MV Expert and MV Energy. Confeeder Shipping & Chartering is responsible for the commercial management.The new management contract concerns MV Expert. PetroLogistics Contract Goes to McDermott

Texas-based PetroLogistics II, a portfolio company of Quantum Energy Partners, has awarded McDermott International, Inc. a contract to provide front-end engineering design (FEED) services for a new U.S. Gulf Coast propane dehydrogenation (PDH) plant.Under the scope of the contract, McDermott will assist in the development of a PDH plant to be constructed on the U.S. Gulf Coast. The plant has a design basis of 500 KTA."McDermott is pleased to be working with PetroLogistics II in the development of a facility that will support the growth of propylene in the U.S.," said Mark Coscio, McDermott's Senior Vice President for North, Central and South America.

TGES Wins Taiwan Terminal FEED Work

Tokyo Gas Engineering Solutions (TGES) has been awarded a deal by Taiwan's CPC Corporation (CPC) to conduct the front end engineering design (FEED) for an expansion project of its LNG receiving terminal at Yung An.According to a statement, TGES will carry out the FEED work this year. McDermott Wins Pre-FEED Gig by YPF

American multinational engineering company McDermott International announced it has been awarded a contract by Argentina-based YPF to provide pre-front-end engineering design (Pre-FEED) services for a five million tons per annum (MTPA) LNG Liquefaction Facility, with a potential expansion to 10 MTPA, at the Vaca Muerta Shale field in Argentina.The scope of work is a continuation of a previous conceptual study developed for the YPF LNG Export Facility in Argentina under a contract in 2018.McDermott's London office will provide engineering services while the Houston office will perform project management and estimation services."The award of this Pre-FEED project is a testimony of McDermott's technical expertise in LNG and our successful partnership with YPF over the years…

KBR Awarded FEED Contract for Oman LNG

American engineering company KBR announced  it has been awarded a Front End Engineering Design (FEED) contract by Oman LNG L.L.C for the debottlenecking of their facility at Sur in the Sultanate of Oman.Under the terms of the contract, KBR will provide FEED services for the debottlenecking project to increase production at its world-class plant in Sur.
