The Spanish shipyard C.N.P. FREIRE, S.A. (Freire Shipyard) held the launch ceremony of the diving support vessel, hull number 739, built for the Armada Logistics Support Command: A22 Proserpina in Vigo. Norwegian offshore vessel owner Solstad Maritime has secured a two-year extension of the current contract for the subsea construction vessel (CSV) Normand Fortress with Petrobras.The extension will start in early July 2026. Under the extended contract, the vessel will provide accommodation services to support production activities on the Brazilian continental shelf.The gross contract value for the contract extension is approximately $56 million.The vessel will be on bareboat contract from Solstad Maritime to Solstad Offshore, which is the contract holder with Petrobras.

Next Geosolutions has finalized financing to support the acquisition of a new offshore vessel, strengthening its fleet and subsea service capabilities as demand grows in the offshore energy sector.The Italy-based marine geosciences and offshore construction support specialist said it has secured backing from Intesa Sanpaolo and Cassa Depositi e Prestiti (CDP) for the purchase of the vessel Siem Day, which will be renamed NG Supporter. N-Sea Group has entered into a long-term charter agreement with Rederij Groen for the newbuild offshore support vessel Dominus, which is being constructed by PASSER at Shipyard De Hoop in Tolkamer, the Netherlands.Construction of the vessel is underway following a keel-laying ceremony held in the final week of February.
