Enauta Starts Anchoring Campaign for FPSO Atlanta

Brazilian oil and gas company Enauta, the operator of the Atlanta field in Santos Basin. offshore Brazil, has started the anchoring campaign for the FPSO Atlanta, which is expected to start production in 2024.This marks the start of installation works on what is called Atlanta’s Phase I, which will bring a larger capacity FPSO to the field that has so far been producing oil via the Petrojarl I FPSO."[The anchoring ] stage consists of installing flexible riser anchors and torpedo anchors for the new [FPSO].

Viking Supply Ships to Charter Two Ocean Yield AHTS Vessels. Purchase Options Included

Anchor handling specialist Viking Supply Ships will take two Ocean Yield-owned AHTS vessels, Far Senator and Normand Statesman, on bareboat charters for a period of five years. The vessels have since October 2020 been on a charter with Normand Chartering, a subsidiary of the Norwegian offshore vessel firm Solstad Offshore ASA. Japan: MOL, MOLMEC to Launch More Offshore Wind Training Courses as ClassNK Approval Granted

Japanese firms Mitsui O.S.K. Lines and MOL Marine & Engineering Co (MOLMEC) have been granted basic approval from ClassNK for two new training courses related to offshore wind power generation. Schoellhorn-Albrecht Builds Anchor for MSC

Schoellhorn-Albrecht recently completed a contract to manufacture a 23,300 lb AC-14 type anchor for Military Sealift Command.The anchor will serve on a Watson Class Vehicle Cargo Ship used for prepositioning of ground vehicles.The anchor was manufactured to ABS rules and proof tested to 272,000 lbs in the presence of an ABS surveyor in Schoellhorn-Albrecht's St. Louis facility.
