ACP Salutes World Maritime Day

In honor of World Maritime Day, the Panama Canal Authority (ACP) today saluted the industry and recognized its importance to shipping and global trade around the world. "We at the Panama Canal Authority are proud to be part of such a dynamic and thriving industry. As a whole, the maritime community has made tremendous progress and achieved many of its goals in the past several years. Fundamentally, we all play an important role in making the world economy run. The Canal is eager to support the long-term growth needs of the maritime industry – ensuring reliable, efficient and safe service," said ACP CEO Alberto Alemán Zubieta.
