Canada Maritime Launches New Website

Maritime Activity Reports, Inc.

July 24, 2003

Canada Maritime has launched a new web site offering more services to its customers with a simple to use architecture which makes good use of the company's distinctive red livery. Found at www.canadamaritime.com the new site utilizes an approach that will be familiar to most users, mirroring an office theme using a clear card index system to access the six different sections, providing all the information Canada Maritime customers need to help them move their shipments. "It is quicker and easier for customers to navigate their way around the redesigned website," explained Senior Vice President, Terry Burrows. "We will give a continual update on service upgrades and improvements. "We know that customers find it useful to have access to the most up-to-date information and that they want to be able to get it at any time. Our system allows customers to find out the latest situation and plan ahead if they need to." The web site opens with "Our World" which gives an introduction and overview of the company including an interactive history timeline. "Your World" offers customers control of information on schedules and routes. In this section, they can check on the progress of their shipments. There are interactive route maps, sailing schedules and an accounts section. Four of Canada Maritime's ships offer passenger travel opportunities so "Voyager's World" is a must first stop for anyone planning a special voyage by cargoship across the Atlantic. The page guides you through the simple steps to get more information or to make a booking. "Making Contact" helps people get in touch at any time with any Canada Maritime office, to check the progress of products, or to discuss sailing times and prices. "Get on Board" provides information on jobs vacancies and allows applicants to write directly to the human resources team with their CVs. The "News" section gives details of Canada Maritime's latest development, such as the progress of the 3500 teu newbuildings Canmar Venture and Canmar Spirit, scheduled to enter service this summer.
