Dryad will take the worry and administrative burden away from procuring the best security solution for your entire fleet. They will continually monitor the ever-evolving legal situation with respect to the guidelines, laws and amendments affecting PMSC’s, Flag States, agents, vessel managers, SAMI, SCEG, & IMO and engages regularly to ensure that any advice given is as current as possible. They provide market leading intelligence so that sound risk based decisions can be made and, through their network of partners will take the worry out of procuring competitive, high quality, flexible security solutions.

With a continued reliance on physical security by the shipping industry in a bid not to become complacent, despite a recent drop in attacks, Owners and Charterers are finding it difficult to keep up with the developments in this rapidly changing sector. It is also becoming increasingly difficult to truly distinguish between providers. Dryad has an experienced team dedicated to monitoring these developments and performing due diligence on PMSCs on behalf of clients.

Dryad’s independent position ideally places them to offer this important service which has already demonstrated unrivalled benefits both operationally and financially. To date it is estimated that Dryad has secured one client alone a minimum of $800,000 in security related savings over the last 10 months without compromising on standards or safety.

Additionally, through Dryad’s innovative approach and cross market visibility, they are able to offer much increased flexibility and availability of security teams to cope with the inevitable short-notice changes to ships’ programs.

Dryad’s market position is underpinned by their market leading intelligence business. From its 24/7 operations HQ, Dryad analysts (with over 370 years of cumulative naval warfare service) provide immediate expert assistance, complete fleet monitoring and management solutions, and automatically initiates their full range of services for each client vessel based on proximity to high risk areas such as the Indian Ocean, Gulf of Guinea and South East Asia. Dryad’s experts track the daily global disposition of its clients fleet in relation to latest attack location and alerts the operating team and the vessel/owners if the vessel is about to enter one of these high risk areas.

The launch of this new range of services reinforces Dryad’s on-going commitment to SOLAS and improving the regulation and delivery of high quality maritime security solutions.
