The success of TTT-1 led to the launch of TTT-2 and both TTT - 1 and 2 will be centers of ‘convenience business’ and will further enhance operational efficacies at the port.

The event commenced with the ‘guard of honor’ salute presented to the esteemed Chief Guest, Santosh Kumar Gangwar, at the KSSPL Grounds followed by his participation in the sapling plantation exercise, as a part of its Green Port initiative. Post visiting the training academy and the port customs house where he interacted with customs officials and appreciated them for the work being undertaken, the minister laid the foundation stone of Trade & Transport Terminal – 2 which would be a full-fledged facility for transporters, Custom House Agents (CHAs) and Freight Forwarders of the port for their daily business transactions.

Commenting on the occasion Chinta Sasidhar - MD, Krishnapatnam Port Company Limited said “The current panorama of a port and its hinterland is that of usual business activities and the monotony patched with it, however we at Krishnapatnam Port have been on a constant pursuit to add vibrant hues with new age technologies aiding ease of doing business, swift clearances and crisp procedures which in turn brings in a huge shift in ‘business convenience’. Our single window clearance is a classic example and the Terminals are establishments which further reiterates our focus on customer convenience.”
