Despite plummeting global fuel-prices, raising inevitable questions about their impact on the fuel conservation sector of the market, Krill Systems has reported strong booth traffic and interest in its products and services at the recent Work Boat Show in New Orleans. The company believes that this seems to indicate is that demand for fuel management strategies continues throughout the global oil and gas sector, even in the present pricing environment.

Krill announced expansion into Far East markets with the appointment of Steel Hawk Engineering SDN BHD (SHESB) as exclusive Krill Systems agent in Malaysia.

Malaysian-based Steel Hawk Engineering is a international service provider to the oil and gas industry, offering integrated design and engineering consultancy services from concept to completion for a range of projects. The company is a 100% Malaysian-owned with Bumiputera status and is a registered vendor with Petronas for several of its standardized work and service categories.

Brian Staton, VP of sales and marketing at Krill Systems Inc., said, “Together with current Krill projects we have working in China, this is a significant addition to our capabilities in the Far East.”
