Norwegian Sun Under Ecological Investigation

Norwegian Cruise Line’s (NCL) Norwegian Sun has prompted an ecological investigation after the 853 ft. vessel released some 16,000 gallons of black water in the Strait of Juan de Fuca in Washington. Officials from the Washington State Department of Ecology along with U.S. Coast Guard investigators boarded the Norwegian Sun on May 11 in Seattle to examine the sewage system a week after the questionable, but reported incident occurred.
