Northrop Grumman Corporation has been selected to provide engineering and technical support for installed navigation and control systems on U.S. Navy ships.
The indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract, valued at $40.3 million, was awarded by the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, to Northrop Grumman’s Sperry Marine business unit. The contract covers engineering and technical services in support of the analysis, repair, alteration, maintenance and product improvement on existing Sperry Marine integrated bridge systems and steering/ship control systems installed on Navy ships and at land-based test facilities. Work is expected to be completed by March 2011.
