In-depth Ballast Water Management Course

Lloyd’s Maritime Academy has launched its first ever, in-depth online course focusing on the Ballast Water Management Convention.

The ‘Certificate of Ballast Water Management’ will run as a 12-week distance learning course and will start on the March 28, 2019.  

Split into six modules, the course specifically focuses on ballast water management, the Convention and why it’s needed.  It will highlight how the environmental concerns are addressed, as well as the role different job functions can, and will play in the process of managing ballast water.

This course will be delivered entirely via distance learning.  Online forums to network with other students will also be made available, as well as support from the Course Director throughout the duration of the program.
