Maritime Activity Reports, Inc.

May 25, 2011

Following the opening of the legal entity in Brazil last year, SpecTec is happy to announce the official inauguration of its 25th office worldwide, in Rio de Janeiro that took place on 12th May.

The office is located in one of the newest and most beautiful areas of Rio, Barra de Tijuca, in the Centro Empresarial Mario Henrique Simonsen, along Avenida das Americas. The inauguration event was attended by SpecTec’s excellent service suppliers in Brazil, such as the Legal offices Siqueira Castro, and the Accounting office of Domingues e Pinho Contadores; and by a great group of friends and of our first customers in Brazil.

SpecTec is already active in Brazil with several installations for ENI, Modec, BP, SBM, Petroserv and few others, which keep our small team of five employees rather busy. Moreover, the Brazil office works in team with the Buenos Aires office, providing services throughout the region to our customers in Mexico, Venezuela and Peru. SpecTec has a strong expansion plan forecasted for South America, especially in the oil & gas sector. Recently, contracts were signed in Mexico, with MMM and TMM, for the supply of AMOS to 2 semisubmersible and one rig for MMM and the fleet of supply vessels and tankers for TMM.

Also, a contract was signed with Transgas in Peru for the delivery of AMOS2 to their fleet of 13 gas LPG tankers.
