Maritime Activity Reports, Inc.

December 20, 2005

Imtech received orders from numerous ship owners and German shipyards for technological solutions on board several German yachts and cruise ships. These orders are worth a total of over $64. In the second half of 2005, Imtech has seen the maritime market segment for luxury yachts and cruise ships pick up in a number of European countries. Especially Germany has undergone a positive market development. Imtech a very strong player in this segment in Europe. From Imtech's three maritime competence centres, intensive co-operation is giving rise to fully sustainable technological solutions with a competitive integral cost price in both yachts and cruise ships. These centres are Imtech Marine & Offshore in the Netherlands (Rotterdam), Imtech Schiffbau-/Dockbautechnik in Germany (Hamburg), and HST (HDW-Hagenuk Schiffstechnik) in Germany (Hamburg, Kiel and Bremerhaven). The Imtech formula is catching on well - amongst other reasons, because Imtech is one of the few market players with the capacity to develop and implement state-of-the-art technology by means of innovation. Imtech's innovative package of services includes integrated and automated ship's bridges, sustainable electrical drives, alarm and monitoring systems, navigation and communications systems, advanced heating, ventilation and air conditioning, fire security, sprinkler technology and integral safety. The orders that were placed are now being implemented at the following German shipyards: Meyer Yard, Thyssen Krupp Marine Systems incorporating Blohm+Voss and Nobiskrug, Lürssen/Kröger Yard and Peters Schiffbau GmbH. In total, the orders involve two new cruise ships and ten luxury yachts, including one existing yacht that will undergo a full technological upgrade. All the cruise ships and yachts will be delivered to their owners by the end of 2007.
