Great Lakes Shipyard says it is ready and able to accept winter work projects for the current and upcoming off seasons.

Their facility is located on 16 acres in the Old River Channel on the Cuyahoga River in Cleveland, Ohio with water front dockage of approximately 2,000 lineal feet with an additional 3,800 lineal feet of available water front dockage on the Cuyahoga River proximate to the shipyard.

The Shipyard specializes in every kind of marine construction, fabrications, conversions, refits, and repairs for all types of commercial and government vessels, tugs, supply boats, ferries, barges, “truckable” barges, excursion vessels, dinner boats, research vessels, and large yachts, as well as both on-site and off-site topside work of every kind.  The major competitive edge of Great Lakes Shipyard is its prompt, high quality, and cost effective products and services. As important though, they understand their customer’s expectations and provide the same level of workmanship that they themselves would expect  as owners and operators of a fleet of vessels.

In addition Great Lakes Shipyard’s Rolls Royce Service Center and facilities serve vessels operating on the Great Lakes and the St. Lawrence Seaway. Rolls-Royce service technicians are employed on-site and are co-located with shipyard personnel in the main fabrication and service shop.
