American Marine Holdings, Inc (AMH) Government Services experienced a record year in sales during 2004, according to Mike Collins, President. AMH, the parent company of Donzi Marine and Pro-Line Boats, formed the Government Services Group in 2003. Mr. Collins stated, ”I am extremely proud of the team we have assembled. John Hotz has been instrumental in our success and was just appointed Vice President of the group”.
The past year marked a flurry of activity for the Government Services division, along with many new additions to the team. Mike Page, former United States Navy Lieutenant with the Special Boat Teams, and formally with Boston Whaler and Night Vision Technologies joined the group and now heads up International and Military sales. Bob Sanders, formally a Lieutenant and State Boating Law Administrator with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, will manage State and Local sales in the Western States; Sam Bean, Deputy Sheriff with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office in Orlando will head up sales for the Private Industrial Towing and Marine Security firms. Chris Allard, who recently graduated from Webb Institute of Design, will be in charge of new product design and manufacturing engineering, and Kelly Webb, Special Consultant on SeaCoaster and other projects, a former United States Navy Master Chief in the Special Warfare community and formally with Boston Whaler adds a wealth of knowledge to the team.
According to Mr. Hotz, “Our product and group of consummate professionals has allowed us to strengthen and secure relationships with some of the most prestigious agencies and private marine industry companies in the country”.

AMH made history on October 3, 2004 with the launching of the revolutionary 102’ SeaCoaster Air Inducted Surface Effect Catamaran (SECAT). The SeaCoaster is scheduled to test for the Office of Naval Research next month.
“Coastal security has changed; the need for higher speed better riding boats for rough water use is evident” says Hotz. “Some of our newest products include a high-speed pilothouse patrol boat in 32’, 34’, & 38’, which offers a fully enclosed pilothouse that can achieve speeds in excess of 60 mph in very heavy sea conditions”. The first two boats will be delivered to Virginia Beach Police and Jacksonville Sheriff’s office by January.
Mr. Collins added, “Our years of experience in offshore racing (where Donzi was the 2004 National Champion in the APBA for the third consecutive year) allow us to consistently produce outstanding offshore performance boats. Our inshore boats are built at the Pro-Line facility and are the perfect coastal and inland product.
