General Dynamics Bets $71.9m Navy Deal

The Navy on Wednesday said it awarded a $71.9m contract boost to a unit of General Dynamics Corp. for repairs and testing on a submarine. Groton, Conn.-based Electric Boat Corp. will provide repairs, changes, testing and maintenance on the USS Virginia, a nuclear-powered attack submarine. The company is expected to perform the work in Groton, Conn. and Quonset Point, R.I. through March 2007. Source: Business Week
