International shipbroker and consultant Galbraith's has embarked
upon a fourth decade of shipping education by confirming arrangements for
the 31st Galbraith's Shipping Course, to be held in the U.K. from July 26 to
August 9.
The Galbraith's Shipping Course, now in its 31st year, is one of the
best-known and most respected events on the international shipping calendar.
A number of established course directors, with many years' experience in
shipping and maritime education at a senior level, take delegates through a
wide range of subjects, including shipbroking, maritime law and arbitration,
ship finance, crisis management, and maritime fraud.
Practical workshops and case studies are interwoven with discussions and
debates to produce a comprehensive course providing access to a level of
shipping experience and education which is widely recognised throughout the
industry for its excellence.
Philip Rogers, head of research at Galbraith's, says, "Education has always
had an important role to play in shipping, and that has never been truer
than it is today. The Galbraith's course has earned a reputation for
excellence, and we are committed to maintaining that."
