Furuno now offers the LS6100, which has been specially designed with pleasure craft and coastal fishing boats in mind. Sporting a sleek, stylish appearance common to Furuno’s new line of products, the LS6100 is small in size yet big in features. The LS6100 utilizes a high-resolution 6” silver-brite LCD screen that offers excellent daytime viewability, even in direct sunlight. Four gray tones at 240 x 320 pixels provide superior target resolution – a must if you’re looking to discriminate fish from bottom structure. Two picture palette settings are available for Daytime and Nighttime conditions. Eight customizable range scales with automatic or manual operation afford unparalleled ease of use. The LS6100 is a dual frequency (50/200 kHz) fish finder that transmits a robust 300 watts RMS. of output power. As with many of Furuno’s echo sounders, it offers many versatile display modes including Single or Dual Display, Bottom Zoom, Bottom Lock Expansion, A-Scope and Marker Zoom. Additionally, the LS6100 offers two distinct navigational data displays which, when connected to the appropriate sensors, are capable of showing a variety of information including water depth and temperature, wind speed and direction, Lat/Lon, XTE and distance run in a graphical or digital text format. These data displays may be customized to show as little or as much information as the user desires.
