September 15, 2000

Viva Gaming & Resorts has reported that all financing required for the company's Texas Treasure casino cruise ship project in Corpus Christi, Texas is now fully secured and in place. The Texas Treasure, presently the only casino ship in the state of Texas, will operate twice daily cruises, each five to six hours in duration, seven days per week from Harbour Island, with its inaugural cruise and soft opening set for Friday evening, September 15 as previously announced. "Despite numerous and unexpected delays, we've moved at an extremely fast pace to ensure this project opened on schedule," Viva Gaming President and Chief Executive Officer, Marty Gross said. Viva Gaming executives expect the ship to draw well in excess of 400,000 passengers annually from all over the state, since it is the only place for offshore gaming in Texas. Introductory fares have been set at $19.95 for day and evening weekday cruises and $24.95 for Friday evening and Saturday cruises. The project is expected to generate approximately $40 million in revenues during its first full year of operations.
