Expanded Trade Show Planned for Mari-Tech 2001

Planning has begun for Mari-Tech 2001, scheduled to be held June 20 - 22, 2001, at the Westin Bayshore in Vancouver, BC, under the sponsorship of the Canadian Institute of Marine Engineering, (CIMarE), Vancouver Branch. The size of the newly redeveloped Bayshore will allow the trade show to grow, and a floating boat show will run concurrently with other events, showcasing vessels that reflect the subject matter of the Technical Paper program. The theme of the conference, Marine Challenges in the New Millennium, will be broken down into four sub-themes: High Speed Vessels, Megayacht Design and Construction , Trends in Commercial, Naval and Docking Tug Design, Marine Maintenance and Operational Challenges.
