EC Reasoned Opinion on Marine Equipment

The European Commission issued a Press Release stating that it sent reasoned opinions to six member states for failure to respect EU legislation on marine equipment. The EU legislation is intended to establish uniform application of international instruments relating to equipment to be placed on EU ships. The EU member states have failed to communicate national measures transposing the EU quality requirements and testing standards. Source: HK Law
